Hello to the all listeners!

This is Boo and Lux, the organizers of KinbaCon. As you may know, KinbaCon is the first European Convention, dedicated exclusively to the Japanese art of erotic bondage - kinbaku. KinbaCon was on 23rd and 24th of May, 2009, in Lviv, Ukraine.

And today is Monday, 25th of May. Now we have the day after the KinbaCon and now we are sitting in the minibus with Arisue Go and Kogure and we are going to the airport. They have to fly away from our country.

You know, only now we have a free time for this interview. After KinbaCon we are so tired, but despite of this we are so happy, that this event came true.
And it seems, that it turned out really great!

За этот месяц мы много раз слышали, что поездка на KinbaCon - это очень дорого.
Нам все больше кажется, что когда потенциальные посетители говорят "это дорого", они реально не просчитывают во сколько им обойдется эта поездка. Они просто прикидывают, что раз придется покупать билет за 30 евро, ехать в другой город, где-то ночевать, то это будет "очень дорого". А раз очень дорого, то и не стоит заморачиваться с планированием поездки.

Хотим возразить.
Поездка во Львов из другого города Украины выйдет не намного дороже, чем поездка в тот же Киев или Харьков.
Если у вас есть цель потратить не очень много денег (что вполне логично в условиях нынешней экономической ситуации), то ехать можно поездом, в плацкартном вагоне, жить в хостеле, кушать в "Пузатой Хате" или вообще готовить самим в том же хостеле (во многих из них есть кухни).
Главное - действительно желание попасть на это мероприятие. Но если его нет, тогда, конечно, нет смысла раздумывать об оптимизации расходов, можно просто сказать "о, это очень дорого для меня".

По поводу "дорогих" входных билетов.
Ребята, билет на подобное мероприятия не может стоить дешевле. Точно так же, как подобное мероприятие не может быть бесплатным. По определению.
Оплата перелета туда-обратно двум японцам + аренда клуба + работа профессионального фотографа + много других мелких расходов = немалые расходы.
И если вы думаете, что организаторы "тупо хотят срубить бабла", то вы ошибаетесь. KinbaCon убыточен. По определению.
30 евро - это минимальная цена, которую мы смогли установить.
Ведь вы готовы платить намного больше за непонятные вечеринки, которые непонятно где и непонятно когда будут происходить, непонятно кто будет на них выступать и что вообще будет. Организаторы таких вечеринок только громко заявляют "приходите, все будет круто!" и обещают много обнаженных женских тел.

Мы не обещаем подобного. Мы вообще не бросаемся громкими словами, которые не имеют под собой никакого основания.
Мы просто делаем то, чего еще не было не только в Москве или Киеве, но и во всей Европе.
У нас нет записи на мероприятие с помощью проставления решеток на форуме, просто отписываясь в топике на форуме, или с помощью отправки заявок на е-майл.
Вся информация о мероприятии доступна на официальном сайте KinbaCon. Заказ билетов осуществляется там же.
Мы понимаем, что такая подача информации кажется посетителям непривычной, странной и сложной (по сравнению с форумами). Но мы считаем это естественным, что у мероприятия подобного формата есть свой полноценный сайт, на котором можно найти абсолютно всю информацию, касающуюся мероприятия.

И про волонтеров.
Ребята, быть волонтером на КинбаКоне - это не значит прицепить бейдж "волонтер" и просто тусить на мероприятии бесплатно, прихватив с собой друга/подругу в качестве второго волонтера.
Это самая настоящая работа. Ответственная. Работа с деньгами.
Быть волонтером это не значит позировать в мини-юбке фотографам на фоне дорогих авто. Это также не значит просто присутствовать в клубе и наслаждаться выступлениями.
Работа волонтера - это быть постоянно на своем месте, выполнять свои прямые обязанности и не видеть большую часть из того, что будет происходить на сцене.

Мы не злобные организаторы.
Мы просто привыкли делать все то, что делаем, качественно.

Только, оказывается, никому это качество не нужно.

Dear friends, we invite you to KinbaCon!

KinbaCon - is the first European Convention, dedicated exclusively to the Japanese art of erotic bondage - kinbaku.
In some countries this art is more known under the name «shibari».

The Convention has the following main objectives:

1. To gather those, who are really interested in erotic bondage in Japanese style.
2. To show the various bondage techniques used by different rope artists.
3. To give the opportunity to learn bondage techniques or to to raise the skill level for those, who are interested in this.
4. To show a unique beauty of the art of kinbaku.

The Convention will be held throughout two days, on 23-24 May, in one of the most beautiful cities of Europe - Lviv.

The first day - performances of masters from the different countries: Japan, France, Russia, Ukraine.
The second day - lessons, which will be conducted by specially invited kinbakushi from Japan - Arisue Go.

During the Convention will be selling the Japanese rope, tutorial books and DVD's.

We are waiting for all, who are not indifferent to the Japanese art of erotic bondage.
